I was wondering what is the use of PRE tags and how can i position an image. whenever i place an image on my webpage, it goes to the left

i mean e.g. i had a bunch of images for say back, forward, start of the slide show, end of slide show. how would i code it in the page?

you can set the exact pixel on the page of where you want the image to be.
