I feel dumb for asking but how do I post an image directly into a thread?
Like I want to to a snapshot of my video card settings and put it in a thread. I have adobe photoshop but am a moron when using it. I downloaded irfanview, not sure if this is what i need to do that. Thanks for any replies.

You have to upload the image or use your own server. Try something like http://www.imageshack.us/

Greg, ok thats fine but its max size limit is very small, and no pics on my system are smaller than it.

But what you did there greg, attaching that screen is what i want to do. Was that easy to do or did you have to post it to a server and type the url in....and how did you take that image of the reply area?

I want to talk a screenshot of my video card setting that i did in this post:http://www.tech-forums.net/showthrea...&pagenumber=2, but get rid of my desktop in the background...and make it more clearer etc.

I used that attach field to do the above image, but if i want to attach an image that is too big i will upload it to my photobucket account (free, http://www.photobucket.com/) and use the [ img ] tags to attach the image.

To take a screenshot I just hit the 'Print Screen' button and pasted it into paint.
