Default porblems with adobe flash player

Hey guys..I'm having an issue with my parent's pc which was lefy unnoticed for a long time. Whenever I want to watch any video online which requires adobe flash player, a message pops up that it isnt installed. So I go ahead and install it and I get the message that adobe flash player was successfully installed....but the videos still dont play. In fact, they still give the same message that flash player isnt present. What should I do?
Thanks
Nev

Try uninstalling it completely. I know there's a tool on adobe's website that uninstalls flash for you when you run it. Download that, run it, and then try to install flash player again. I had this problem not too long ago, and that fixed it.

+1

I've seen something similar to this happen before and a complete uninstall and reinstall did the trick.
