I have seen programs that can tell you a bunch of info about a picture such as the camera used to take it, the time it was taken, the orginal file name and many other detailed pieces of information. Can someone suggest me a program that does this?

it is 50/50....it's all about exif data
many apps and even windows can display you this info...it depends if the camera was set up to also embed that information. For just basic windows xp viewing, right click and properties.

Also, often opening, editing and saving will destroy the exif data, unless the app was able to retain that original info.
