| Does anyone know how to do some cool stuff in photoshop? If so, post it here and tell us how you did it! Here is mine - yes im a Photoshop Noob. ![]() (done is Photoshop CS2) 1. Pick 2 Colors 2. Render/Clouds 3. Pixelate/Mezzotint and Choose Medium Lines 4. Blur/Radial Blur and choose a number between 60 and 100. (done in Photoshop CS2) 1. Pick 2 Colours 2. Render/Clouds 3. Pixelate/Mezzotint and choose Medium Lines 4. Blur/Motion Blur, set to 999. As you can see, that both of these are the same except for the last step. With the second one, i made a nice brushed metal effect by fiddling around with the colours and Mezzotint and Blur settings. The second image i thought could be used on my forum (link in Sig) Wayne

| I tried one that the end resault was a fiery planet in space but i couldnt get it right!

| Ultra Techie | okay to do those follow these steps: 1: Open a new document, 500x500. Press "d" then "x" to reset your colour pallet. Press Ctrl+Backspace to fill the document with your background colour. Go to Filter > Render > Lens Flare and Use the default settings. Place the centre of the flare in the top left hand corner. 2:Go to Filter > Sketch > Chrome. Settings: Detail: 10 Smoothness: 0 3: Set the layer to lighten. Then duplicate the layer (Ctrl+j) 6 times. 4: Go to Filter > Distort > Wave. Use the default settings and click "Randomize" a couple of times. Do the same for the next 3 layers On the seccond last layer go to Filter > Distort > Twirl. Settings: Angle: 150 On the last layer go to Filter > Distort > Twirl. Settings: Angle: -150 Then merge all the layers together (Ctrl+Shift+E) Then press Ctrl+U and tick the Colourize box. Settings: Hue: 205 Saturation: 45 Lightness: 0 Then Go Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur Settings: Radius: 3.0 Then Go Edit > Fade Gaussian Blur (Shift+Ctrl+f). Settings: Opacity: 100 Mode: Overlay And there you have it! |
