Default Photoshop question .....

Well ive made a little web button thing and i wanted to know if i can make the text on the button change colour when the mouse moves over it in the browser. Ive done it before in paintshop pro but i cant seem to find out how its done in photoshop. Ive got image ready too if thats needed.

Any help appreciated

im not sure how to use image ready. I dont remember it being an animation in paint shop pro.

Pretty easy way: Make two images. Another one being the buttons first state. And the other being the buttons second state. Then just find a tutorial for simple mouseover javascript, to change the images when mouse goes over the image. =) And you dont even need to start Imageready.

lol ok. thats the response i got from a few people now, i guess i will have to read my new dreamweaver book and see if its got the javascript

open imageready and create a layer and draw something on it. create a second layer and draw a different thing. hide the second layer. under the web content tab click the "new rollover" button. in the rollover state hide the normal first layer image and make the second image layer visible. output your optimised webpage and images. read the help content in photoshop

here's an example of this, put your mouse over the off image:

Once you have your image, Dreamweaver will do all the work for you. I belive its something like Insert -> Roll over Image, although I rarley use Dreamweaver, so don't quote me on that. It will set up the roll over and preload the image for you.
