Default ok, I have some photos but PS cant open them, unknown file type

I have some photos that i worked on on a mac then burned onto a CD. I just put them onto my PC and photoshop cant open them. it says file type: file Is there anyway to convert it to a PSD so I can further edit and print them

You wouldn't be able to 'convert' them from this current state without opening them. So you may have to go back to the Mac you used, and re-save them as PSD's or PDF's. You may also try saving them as TIFF if they are not already saved as such. Otherwise, this is just a typical Windows thing, not being able to read some files saved by a Mac.

Yes you could. And it seems that may be your only option. However, you may be able to open your pictures on your PC in QuickTime's Picture viewer (that is, IF you have QT) And then you would be able to save them from there. If not, then it's back to the Mac.

ok, it opens in quicktime, but as a movie, not as a picture. I cant save it from there, ill keep trying different things, I have PS 6 and 7.

fix.T I just renamed it to orangesky.psd and now it opens
