| New Web site design thought? Hey
my cousin has a business and he's created a website for it.
I need opinions and suggesions.
From a rating scale of 1 to 5...(5 being the best), what would you rate it?
Just give me your thoughts when you first look at it, internal links aren't finished yet. :::JETHA CORPORATE:::
Thanks. |

| Re: New Web site design thought? I'd rate it a 4.5.. its aesthetically pleasing, but try to re-size the table and everything inside it, so there's not as much purple background visible, maybe also slow down that scrolling object there (I mean I know when you rollover it stops, but it'd be a good idea for the first time viewer) |

| Re: New Web site design thought? Put pictures of the real employees in place of those generic ones! =0) I see that all the time and it looks fake looking to me.
it does look pretty good though.

| Re: New Web site design thought? Slow down that scroll bar and make the main page larger. Not because it is too small to read, but that is entirely too much 'unused' space IMO.
I would give it an 8 out of 10 when just looking at that main page (didn't click anything). |

| Re: New Web site design thought? I would rate it 5.5 out of 10, but thats all deserved mainly because of the beauty of the design. As far as it regards the code...god...he must be kidding by using the map for the menu?? I would even accept table based layouts (even tho the tables are meant for tabular data) but...map for menu...?
Once again, the design is beautiful. |

Once again, the design is beautiful. | I agree with you. [Invalid] Markup Validation of http://www.jetha.ae/Default.aspx - W3C Markup Validator
You shouldn't have this many errors, especially not on a business site.

My honest opinion is that it needs a lot of work. I agree about the scrolling and the size of the main content area. IMO the overall coloring doesn't seem representative of the type of products being sold...it seems like I should be buying makeup for my wife from the site. That being said, I think the gradients and the text and stuff look good, they just need to be a different color schemes.
