I just got a cool bit of software that allows you to make your own custom icons for use with Windows and Mac operating systems.

It's called IconBuilder Pro from the Icon Factory (www.iconfactory.com)

It's great how it allows you to make your own regular Windows icon, to the high quality icons for the aqua interface!

Here are some of the icons I've managed to come up with.

that factory is really useless.this may sound like work but you will get professional results:
adobe photoshop:make 3-5 frames same size
import them into ulead gif animator and save.

hmmm never thought of it that way before..

But in OS X, when you save a .gif or any image type, it automatically puts a white background behind it. With the IconFactory, you can make Aqua compatible icons with no white background(unless you tell it you want a white background)
