Default making custom PS CS2 shortcuts??

is it possible to make a cutom shortcut?

i want something like ctrl/alt/shift + scroll to change the brush size, so i dont have to keep going into the silly menu thing. if you are trying to paint, it is very tedious to keep having to chnage the brush sizes like that.

also, i want press and hold middle mouse button to be 'hand tool'

thanks.

I don't have CS2, but in CS I know you can go to Edit > Keyboard shortcuts.

Then you can choose which ones you want and change them.

You could use the keyboard shortcut that is PS has used forever.

Left bracket = smaller brush

Right bracket = larger brush

I am not sure if you can program in a scroll or mouse wheel. Either way the default command is only one key as anything you program will be multiple keys.

Learn the default key commands. They really are very good. I am a graphic designer by trade and have been using PS for 7 years. I use the stock keyboard shorcuts for everything and only create new ones for things that aren't already there like getting to the selective color palette.

i already know them. they are indeed very useful. much faster than hunting through the pallette.

in CS2, i turned on 'scroll to zoom' this is incredibly useful, as it makes it more like a CAD program, where i have gotten so used to scrolling. if you are scrolling to zoom, it would be very good to use middle mouse button for the hand tool, but i dont think there is a way really.

EDIT: that square brackets thing is really good. thanks.
