Default Java Scripting for a dummy

Ok so right now I'm working on my friends website using Dreamweaver MX 04 and I am having a horrible time trying to do a couple of things.

1) I've got pages that open in an "open in: _blank" but I want to get rid of the browser control for the "_blank" pages how would I do that?

2) On those "_blank" pages I have got a "back" button but when it is clicked it only goes back to the main page...so now there is another browser open XP how do I fix this??

Thank you for all your help

Default

When you go to the page in Dreamweaver, down in the properties inspector there is an option called "Target". Just erase _blank from that.
