Images shrink when posted

I originally thought the following problem was blogger related but I have since had the issue elswhere.

About 3 weeks ago I noticed that when I would either enter the html code for a picture/link or drag one into my blog post that it would shrink down a bit upon publishing it. And if I were to open the post to edit or do nothing the picture (s) would shrink down even more as soon as I opened the post. If it were just a few pictures I would simply adjust the code to enlarge the picture again, however if you look at my blog I have many pictures within each post making it a ton of work. I have since stopped updating my blog.

I have been posting for help on the blogger forums for weeks with no success.

I just now noticed that when I dragged a picture link to another forum for posting that the picture automatically shrank as soon as it got into the post body.

Here is the post with the picture , and here is where a pulled the picture from (my blog) .

The picture in my blog is 216px x 162px and when I posted it in the Investor Village forum it is now 158 x 118px.


This is happening on both my laptop and desktop.

I am using firefox 2.0.0.4
Windows XP Pro


Any ideas what can be causing this is greatly appreciated. I am coming unglued!

Still an issue.

I have found that the images only shrink when I drag and drop them from their weblocation.

When I paste in the html code the shrinking does not happen.

Here is a video that shows how as soon as the image hits the post it shrinks.

I am just glad I know a work around ,( using the code) but it is really inconvenient when doing a lot of work on my blogs.

any ideas ?
