| To get some great info on webpage building, I would check out www.webmonkey.com
They have everything from the basics of the basics, to really advanced stuff. The info there should be enough to get you started.
Good luck! Welcome to TF, by the way!

| What web site? Presuming you're starting out with the free places, such as Angelfire, or Geocities (which serve ads to cover the costs and then some)... you'd either set up an FTP client (Angelfire), or login to the web site, and look for a link along the lines of "Upload File". Once done, you should be able to go to your website...such as www.angelfire.com/aaltanahmad/image.jpg (Not exactly right, been a bit since I've used that...!) Their FAQs will also have extensive information on how to use FTP, and/or how to use the web site to upload files.

| Well what web site do you have? If you pay for one, you'll get no ads, and much more functionality...and most likely be forced (to start with), to use FTP.
As far as logins and such, it'd be real handy to have PHP (free!) or ASP ($$) on the server. Here's a quick google on one tutorial: http://llimllib.f2o.org/LoginTutorial.html
But note: that is not very easy to do, just starting out.
Anyway...ignore that stuff and lemme say this:
You say "if i have my own website"--go out and make one, or start/try to. It becomes a lot easier to explain things, and understand them, when you actually try it... www.angelfire.com
and www.geocities.com
are two free places to make web sites that I know off the top of my head...
