Default hiding URL address? HELP!

is there a way I can be at one webpage on my web server, and have it show a different URL? aka....

I have a forum that forum.*mypage*.com is auto redirecting to our free forum....but I want it to show forum.*mypage*.com instead of the really stupid long URL of the other site.

any help ? : )

A simple trick is to load the forum page in a single-framed page hosted somewhere at yourpage.com. The obvious problem being that the address bar URL will always be yourpage.com/forums instead of freeforumsite.com/somefreeaccount/showthread.php?s=&threadid=23534. This means when people copy and paste the link to a specific article, they will always be greeted by whatever default page you have set as the frame page.

Putting pages in frames with the intent of making it appear to be from another URL is often called "URL Cloaking".

I'm pretty sure this can be done with javascript also, but its not something a web developer should be contemplating.
The url address is your friend for search engines and also this sort of thing tends to only be done by spoofers and scammers.
