Default Fresh XP won't detect onboard video

Hi~ First time posting here

Here's a problem I have.
Reinstalled XP and it doesn't detect the onboard (VGA compatible) video.
I know have 640X480 and Color quality is 4bit. Wohooo!!
In device manager as "other device" with yellow question mark.
Tried updating but it won't find a driver on my (Original) xp cd.
It's a *Legend Computer* > nothing on their website!
Winbond Motherboard > no luck here either.
At this point i'd be happy with any driver that would work.

M VGA Compatible driver. Shouldn't be this hard to find??

Any ideas?
Thanks

Musjunk22 is on a distinguished road

Default

you posted in the wrong forum, try the hardware forum.

Go to your BIOS and look around to see if it says the exact name or brand of adapter it is. Does ur comp have an intel cpu? Does it have an Intel chipset? if it has either I would go and download some of the video drivers that intel has on their site.thats all I can say try posting this in the hardware section.
