Default Enhancing a grainy image?

Can this be done? I have a nice picture that I took on my (cheap, old) digital camera that is ruined by a grain from poor lighting.

I have Adobe Photoshop if it helps otherwise freeware software will have to do.

Thanks for the help.

Well Photofiltre has the ability to do dust reduction, but by the time it starts to get rid of the dust you' re at the point where its best just to tweak the colors a little and call it a painting instead of a picture.

lol. I know how it feels. You make a great pic, and then the quality sucks.

Sods law states that the day after I take the pictures I get a decent digital camera:

(10.1megapixel ftw, non SLR FTL)

Not bad. What camera is that? Brand, zoom?

Mine sucks. It's too grainy, and it does 8MP, but looks grainy.

It is a Casio EX-Z1000 - and I have no idea how to really work it lol. I think it has a 3x opticle zoom limited by the fact it is 3/4 deep. - also have no idea how you zoom onto a object.
