Default Editing Photos

I have a photo of myself and i want to edit out the background fairly neatly and replace it with a plain colour. I am using Paint Shop Pro. Any Help appreciated.

Thanks
Wayne

I don't use PaintShop Pro, so I can't tell you if there is a better way to do this, but you'll need to do one of two things: Create bezier curves (Pen tool in Adobe products, define points and curves to create a path) or just grab the eraser and have at it. Depending on how things turn out, you can then go and clean up the image and fake nice edges on your cropping work.
