I was browsing some of yall's pictures and can't figure out how you included small bits of motion (blurred vibration effect, rotations, twinkiling, etc.) as well as all the abstract backgrounds in ImageReady. I don't expect detailed responses. But any general help would be cool. Thanks.

make sure you save them as GIF if you want them on the web.

Can I still preserve file quality with a GIF file?

gif files are pretty good for everything. I send images that might need to be resized as a .gif file so my customers can adjust them if they need to.

It will have less colors. You should change the color palette to "Websafe" to get the actual color when you compress

It looks like I can make Animations with Layers? Is that how you guys do it?

You have to make a differnet layer for every movement and change the visibilty for the layers. In the timeline, you can tween between layers.
