Question Does any1 know how much a 3D modeler gets paid?

I was just wondering how much a 3D modeler or a 3D animator or a dude that does both gets paid? (per year, month, hour whatever you want)

Thanx

they are paid very well for a reason. professional 3D modeling takes a lot of skills and talent, beyond what most people are capable of.

it is heavily programming based and requires a lot of artistic talent all at the same time. the learning curve is very steep and difficult. you can however learn the basics in a few weeks and it is very useful in digital graphic design.

3D modeling requires a team of people with specific talents. some would skin, model, texture, lighting, camera, animation, scripts ect. there is no way 1 person can do it alone.

if you want a nice free 3D render program try blender. It doesnt take any programming skills at all, and if you get a good book on it, you can learn how to make a game, or 3d render quite easily.
