Question Digital Camera suggestions?

I am looking for a new digital camera. Something nice with a LOT of storage. I want to use it when I go to college after this summer and other things. It would be great if it could take video too, and upload easily to my pc. I was looking at spending maybe $200-$250 ish... Link me to any you suggest, thanks!

Default Re: Digital Camera suggestions?

I would suggest one of these two:

Newegg.com - FUJIFILM FinePix S1000fd Black 10.0 MP 2.7" 230K LCD 12X Optical Zoom Digital Camera
Newegg.com - FUJIFILM FinePix S2000HD Black 10 MP 2.7" 230K LCD 15X Optical Zoom 27.6mm Wide Angle Digital Camera

The first has a 12x optical zoom, and the second has a 15x, and they're both 10mp. The second one has a wide angle option that you may not care about, in which case, go with the first.

How about this? Friend next to me recommends it. Newegg.com - Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, Digital Cameras and more!

I love FujiFilm Cameras. I have 3 of them now. Even the oldest one still rocks.

Cannon Powershots are also decent. I have also had experience with Sony Cybershots as well. They are good ones to use.

I love canon to death, and they have good cameras. The main reason I recommended the Fujifilms was the great optical zoom for better quality zoomed photos. But that's my photo-nerd side coming out. If the canon is cheaper, and you don't mind the diminished zoom, go for it. Otherwise, the ones I recommended are your best bet.

I think I'm going to order this Newegg.com - Canon PowerShot SD1100 IS Silver 8.0 MP 2.5" 230K LCD 3X Optical Zoom Digital Camera
Checked it out at my buddy's house after school and I really like it. Excellent price too, and includes a case and 4gb card. Thanks for all of the suggestions cloud, REALLY appreciate it!

ok, so that camera jumped up $50 for no reason? This one is 10mpx, $186.99 (shipping not included) from amazon. What do you guys think? I think its better than the SD770 and the SD1100. This one is the 790. Also, is adorama camera trustworthy? Thats where it says it will ship from. Amazon.com: Canon PowerShot SD790IS 10MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom: Adorama Camera

I still say the $200 FujiFilm I mentioned is better, even though I like Canons.

If it is within your budget, get the Samsung Pro 815 . It is a high end digital camera that is comparable to DSLR.
