Default Clouds for PS

This may be an unusual post... but cloud images can really come in handy when useing photoshop

here's a zip full of cloud pics I have taken and collected:
(93 pics) = (51.1Mb)

http://dl2.uploadgalaxy.com/files/07..._Pics.zip.html

here are some examples of how I've used them:

I have also used them for steam and fog effects

Wow, any thoughts of making that before/after image into a wallpaper, or just the whole thing as the after image? That's even cooler than the Media Center edition default wallpaper.

start with whatever image you are useing...

use the magic wand tool to select the sky

duplicate the layer and cut out the clouds

place your cloud picture below that layer and adjust it as necessary

then adjust the coloring of both layers till they match up (keep in mind how shadows work when working with sky's)

and finally... to make the before and after pic

merge the new layers, and then use the eraser tool with a large brush head and make a large diagonal stroke across half of the top layer

fun stuff

edit: did anyone ever take the time to download those?

I think the link will die after 30 days if there is no activity

I kind of stole your idea, and this is what I came up with:

I'm quite pleased, but i need to spend more time splitting the grass from the sky nekt time.

Thanks for the idea! Hope you don't mind me trying it!
