Hi,

Here's a question that should have a really simple solution. I recently found a CDR with an old website on it I had made in high school using MS Word 97. For fun I decided to put it back on the web. However, once I opened the html files in Word 2003 to change the link URLs and saved them, the pictures that were inserted suddenly would not show up when published to the web. I've tried removing them and reinserting them without luck. I've completely recreated a page and even tried using DreamWeaver without success.

And just so everyone knows, I AM using the correct server location for the image when I insert it. When I point my web browser to this address, the picture pops up perfectly.

This task was simply when I last did it 8 years ago. What could I be doing wrong?

If you could post the source code then i might be able to tell you what the problem is. And i do not recommend ms word for editing html files.

on the website, right click image and see the image source, if it shows local. then check local directory. if not, then change the URL's

Hi, Sorry for the delay. I checked the source and it's pointing to the correct web address. In fact, if you cut and paste it in a web browser, the picture pops up. Because I can't seem to disable smilies on a post that's already been started, I wasn't able to post the whole code in here, so I'll give you the web address and you can get the source from there.

This is the only image I found that didn't work. It is because you didn't point to the correct location. You're pointing to "http://blisschord.madliberationfront.com/blisrat2.gif"
You should be pointing to:
"http://blisschord.madliberationfront.com/images/blisrat2.gif" (that was a lucky guess eh?)

Thank you! I changed the location of the image in Word and it still didn't work. However, once I opened the source and changed it manually, it worked great. Thank you for your help!
