I need a batch image converter between different formats.
and it would be wonderful if it will be able to edit images as well.
Any suggestions?

Try the ReaConverter Pro. It very easy in use and functional one. Supports about 340 formats (including PDF and EPS). I always use it for batch conversion of my images. It can edit images as well.

If you want a one stop shop for batch- rotate, size, and format may I recomend ACDSEE 6 or 7. but if the previous post works well and it free by all means use it

ACDSee rocks. I used it for years. I also recommend ACD Systems PicaView, wich is very useful.

Another nice program is Redsoft Image Resizer. (Batch)
