Default Windows on a mac

A friend of mine wishes to install Windows on his mac. It's a Macbook that he got a few months ago. I've never done any duel booting or even seen it done so I'm in the dark here. I do believe you have to partition the hard drive though, am I correct? I haven't done that myself either so any help would be appreciated.

Yeah, you'll have to. Boot Camp should make it pretty easy, though.

You will also need a seperate disc with all the appropriate Windows drivers or nothing will work right when you do boot the system into Windows.
