Two New Mac Attacks Discovered

I know, I know, according to the powers that be at Apple, Macs are an impenetrable fortress that are invulnerable to all forms of attack…yada, yada, yada. I’m just saying that Mac owners should be careful when they are crusin’ for porn today…which we all know they don’t do either….because there are two new Mac attacks out there.

Then, this morning, Graham pointed me in the direction of the ParetoLogic blog which detailed a new piece of malware (which Sophos detects as OSX/Jahlav-C) hiding out on what presents itself as a hardcore porn website.

Silly, silly Mac. Just go on believing you can't get viruses, all the better when you find out you have one. Might have to install an actual anti-virus program DUN DUN DUN DUN!

Some buy macs just for the sake of it.
One guy in my school... has a lush mac on his desk.. top of the range with its specs...
And he had to ask people what iMovie was..
I dont think they should be sold to people who havent got a clue

+1

Macs aren't immune, but they are simply less targeted, as they were originally designed for home use only. From my personal experience i can say, that though the only protection I use is a firewall (Protemac Netmine) my Mac doesn't get any viruses.
