Default temps and file transfer

i have been googling and there seems to be mixed opinions on the subject.

i want a temperature monitoring program that can give temps for OS9 G3, PowerPC chip. is there a mac version of a program much like everest?

also, how can i get files from my PC to the mac? i hear floppies wont work, and i have no usb ports.

I don't know of any monitoring apps for OS9...there may be some hardware ones, but that's all I'm aware of. If they exist, they're likely to be listed on http://pure-mac.com

Also, about file transfering using floppies, yes, it will work, just make sure you don't format the floppy with any Mac filesystem, and that PC Exchange is turned on on your Mac.

oo thanks. now. another problem.

when i try to eject the CD on the mac, by going special>eject, it crashes, and needs a hard reboot.

clicking th button on the cd drive does nothing. what is the problem? am i doing something wrong?

EDIT: it is now crashing quite alot when you click shutdown. me thinks it is a tad under powered on 145W PSU. I will buy a new one i think. what is a good 300W psu, that is quite cheap? ~£20...

Apple too uses proprietary parts, so you just can't get any PSU and put it in. Nor am I aware of any people that sell Apple PSUs other than the Apple Store.

Can you drag your CD to the trash?
