| Master Techie | I am running OS9 and I am logged into the 'admin' account. When I go to the control pannel and then TCP/IP it says "The file TCP/IP Preferences" Could not be opened because it is locked or being used by another application. I'm about ready to throw this thing out the window...speaking of windows, windows never gives me this problem!!!!!

| OS9, unfortunately, doesnt have NoConfigIP like MacOSX and newer versions of Windows have. Try removing and deleating your TCP/IP preferences completely. The TCP/IP control panel should generate a new file automatically.
