Hmm... I'm intrigued... but it talks alot about bugs and things, that worries me.

But if it'll run Mac on PC I'm all for it. It's high time that happened.

Thanks G5, I did some good ol' fashion searching based on this and I found out some good info, I posted on another thread but thanks to you for sparking the curiosity!

This is good for all you PC users. But it will never be the same as sitting in front of a REAL Mac

You're right, it's certainly not fast or stable enough to use on a regular basis, but it's definately good enough to give some PC users a taste of what they're missing with OS X.

I'm just impressed that it runs so well considering it's such an early version.. the screenshot below is PearPC 0.1.1 running OS X 10.3

Thats awesome. From your personal rig?

By the way, WHERE DID YOU GET THAT BACKGROUND FROM? (the one in your osx environment)

Yep, that's running on my home desktop (P4 @ 3.2ghz). I gotta say, after a couple hours of toying with OSX, I'm pretty sure my next computer purchase will be either a Powerbook or a G5. OSX is sooo ideal for Java development and music production, which is what I spend most of my time doing on my PC.

Anyhow, you can grab the wallpaper from here or you can get the full-color version here.

I'm glad to hear that, I want my next comp to be a G5

I hope this means people will look to Mac more, and not just the OS
