I have a 5th gen. 30g IPOD Video. I have numerous videos on it, all which play just fine on the IPOD. The trouble I am having is trying to wacth them on my TV. I purchased the proper cable and when I hook it to my TV I only get audio, no video. All of the movies are MPEG-4, I have the settings to NTSC, TV out. I have tried changing the cable around to no avail. I have the latest software: 1.1.1. Any suggestions?

the cabel may have a short can you return it and try another, or test your tv with another device to see if its the ipod or the tv

you bought the cable from apple?

if not, try switching the red and the yellow (plug the red plug into the yellow jack and the yellow plug into the red jack, white stays the same)

yeah...if you didn't get it from Apple, the red plug becomes video and the yellow plug becomes the right audio channel
