NO, Apple's biggest mistake was liscensing Applesoft BASIC from Microsoft, which gave M$ an influx of cash, and basically kept them alive.

but apple fanboys will reallly annoy you. Like your talking to your friend about how you cant get mysql working with php and he would say because pc's are crap and how i should get a mac. They turn every conversation into a Apple versus PC argument

well mabye they didnt have a say in the matter and they dont have enough money (i dont think many people would) just to go and buy another computer if someone tells them thier old one is bad.
