Anyone know the estimated release date for lepord?

if i buy a macbook pro now, will i get the upgrade for free, or will they make me buy the os again?

Chances are, they'll make you pay for it.

Judging by the last release, and the date they've set for this one, I'd say March-April 2007.

There are no activation or cracks or serial numbers required - they don't care that much.

Take that bit of information and do what you want with it.

no one i know uses apple, at least not enough to get the update as soon as it comes out so that really wont work for me.
