I just got finished removing the laptop from my dad's old broken powerbook g4. The drive is ide. However when I try to hook the laptop up to a regular IDE cable the drives IDE connectors are a tad smaller then my cable, and probably any other cable. Is there anywhere that I can buy an IDE cable to match the laptop hard drives? and eventually be able to hook it up to my main desktop?

Yeah, 2.5" drives are not 3.5" drives.

Get this, and plug the drive in with USB.
