New Generation 4 iPods!!

the biggest thing is that the new iPods have incorporated the new click-wheel thats on the iPod mini

they got rid of the 15GB; 20GB=$300; 40GB=$400 ($100 less than before), possibly making way for a 60GB $500 iPod

the battery life has been extended to 12hours

I saw those earlier today when I was browsing Apple's site. I have a 3rd Generation 20 GB. I might get a 40 GB now though...

I may be getting one of these soon. It is time for me to own an MP3 player and this looks like the opportunity for it. I was going to get a 20 gig, but the 40 gig comes with a hand-remote, carrying case, and docking station...accessories which would cost more then the difference in the iPod prices alone, making it more worthwhile to get the 40 gig.

Yeah the 40GB has the best out of box value now (399$ is a steal!) as this version has everything the 499$ version did, except this is smaller and gets better battery life. Way to go on this one Apple!
