does anyone know of any good software/free,shareware to convert mp3 files to cd/wav files on OS X tiger?

You can do this through Itunes also.

Edit -> Preferences -> Importing
Change the drop down box to WAV
Then right-click on the songs you want and press convert.

CDex has always been useful for me.

It won't convert protected mp3's (mp4) files, though...which is good.
