That's a good point. But then it would need to look like the Powerbooks brushed metal casing somehow. Speaking of which...how do the Powerbooks keep from getting "BLOODY hot"? Or is that a Powerbook design flaw itself...

The sheer surface area of the powerbooks, not to mention the passive cooling system (air vents) coupled with an active cooler (a system fan) keep them from running too hot. But, unfortunately, the 12 inch powerbook does not have enough surface area to disipate the huge heat that its components generate, crowning it as the hottest laptop Apple makes.

If apple made a 'PowerPod', wouldn't that be like ressurecting the old Newtons? only revised?

No, for that we'd need a much larger decide with handwriting input. Apple has already said they aren't planning any PDa type device.

However, they wont confirm nor deny an iPod video .
