Mac Worm Author Receives Death Threats

Like any popular operating system, Mac OS X is increasingly becoming a target for hacks, exploits and vulnerabilities. UNLIKE other popular operating systems, reporting those vulnerabilities could get you death threats. Heh, think different indeed.

The beef over news of a worm targeting Macs, and the identity of the researcher who claimed to have created the malware, took an even stranger turn Wednesday as death threats were allegedly posted to his or her blog, which was then reportedly hacked.
