| Brand new nano, when I go to turn it on all I get is a white screen....I can't take it back b/c I bought it from another person that lives near me who won it in an auction, so now reciept (it was brand new, still had all the wrapping/safety tape stuff, I checked to make sure it hadn't been open) What is going on? Restoring it via the CD thing didn't work, I will send it to apple I just want to know if there is another way to fix it. I heard/read letting the battery die out / recharge fixes it

| i never understood why someone needs the receipt or anything in order to get it fixed by the manufacturer. its clearly made my apple, and its clearly brand new (because it doesnt have scratches all over it yet, but you'd better take it to them soon because it will look old on a few weeks) they should fix or replace it. but yeah try the battery thing |
