Default Ipod ripper

I'm thinking about purchasing an ipod nano, right now I have a 4gb old school ipod mini. Now I bought this ipod off my roommate and she aready has all the music i listen too on her computer, so I never bothered to download music of my own (i built a new computer). I set my ipod up to where I can drag music off any library i connect too and put it on my ipod. But I cant drag music off my ipod onto say my library on my home computer. Is there any way I can download a program that can rip all my music off my ipod onto my library at home?

yeah, ephpod will let you do that. if you're on a mac (im assuming you're not because you built it.. but if you are!) senuti is fantastic for that.

I use senuti (itunes spelled backwards), and it is the best in my opinion.

Not needed. On Windows, you can simply explore the iPod, unhide the music folder, then copy its contents into your computer and add the folder to your music library. Problem solved.
