iPod keeps charging...and charging....

My iPod mini has been charging for like 12 hours straight. This is the first time it has ever done that. Why is it doing this?

Try using up the battery and try again. It might have just had a brain fart.

Play it during the day, and charge it during the night. Sometimes the battery shortfires the energy causing it to have less than nothing. (-99%)

it shouldn't do that anymore
