Do your reasearch...becuase you should worry about the quality of the Transmitter. Depending on where you are, the FM transmitters work at varying qualities.

Griffin's iTrip 2 is supposed to be alright, and work in areas of varying consistency. But it leechs battery life off the iPod if i remeber correctly.

Belkin has like 3 different FM transmitters, and they work depending on where you are. It works well in some places and not so well in others. You can use these in differerent players other than the iPod.

I'm using the brand new JVC Gumy Phones. These in-ear can block the outside noise, and they are very comfortable to wear without falling off. The sound performance of the JVC product are promising.

I use a Belkin FM transmitter and when you plug it into the Belkin iPod Car Charger, it amplifies its effectiveness and it is capable of broadcasting over some of my area's more powerful stations. And be really carefull when getting a case... some of them look nice and are nice, but are really hard to use with your iPod... My Belkin black leather case is good protection, but the little plastic screen cover also covers the click wheel... making it almost impossible to use it while in the case.
