Default import settings

I am trying to import settings in a mac lab. I wanted to make an image and try to be able to retrieve it off the server but I cant retrieve an image from a network drive when using "carbon copy cloner." In my PC lab i just ghost everything but I dont know how to do that with OS x.

Umm...I'm not quite sure what you are trying to do. Are you trying to make an image of your drive?

Yeah, if it's x.3 or x.4, then dd will work.
