Question iHollywood

Does anyone think that Steve Jobs will go through and make iHollywood? Would you buy movies online? Do you think he will make the new iPod but call it iDVR so you can put all your downloaded movies on this portable DVD player? Is this a good idea? What do you think?

Once a viable low size, high quality movie standard emerges then Apple can think about doing something like this. But since only a small percentage of the US has a broadband connection, the reaction would be miniscule, not to mention the fact that the movies would cost almost the same as DVDs (due to royalties, etc.) and DVDs would be better on all ends.

But the iPhone won't have a dock...that's just not usable at the size. They'll have to come up with some new interface...but that is something that Apple is more then capable of. As for video iPods, CNet has a good article on the matter...http://www.cnet.com/4520-6450_7-5118998-1.html?tag=txt
