Default If anyone could help me

I was just wondering, what type of file system does the Mac use on its hard drive? FAT? NTFS? Could a mac HDD work in a pc or is there some special extensions that only works for each.

OSX Macs use HFS+, which cannot be used in Windows systems as a writable disk. It can, however, be read through the use of special programs mainly used for iPods.
