Default Hooking up a Mac into a PC-based network

Is is possible? I've gotten both Yes's and No's, and I need to know.
Router, and this is what the G4 was supposed to be using. If I can't do it with these, what could I get to do it with?

The Belkin website shows that there are three revisions of that model...only one works with Mac OS X.

Since I can't tell which one that is, I'll give you the same yes and no as everyone else.

I actually don't see three revisions. Can you link me to the one that works with Mac OS X?
Anyway, is hooking a Mac into a Windows based network possible?

Seriously general, could you be more specific. Will any router work? Just plug it in like you would 2 PC's together? How about filesharing? Can it be done between a Windows and Mac machine? How so? Please elaborate.

No, it will. I do it all the time between my dad's PC and my Mac.

You need to enable Windows sharing in System Preferences-Sharing.
