Default help with Sharing from my Pc to My Ibook..

hey well what Im doing now its transfering my Music from my PC to my Ibook so I can use it as a Storage they are both on a wireless Network Im doing this because I want to not use space on my PC's HDD so what i want to do is make a folder on My ibook which I can acess from my PC to stream Music over.. the Thing is I can easily acess my Pc from my Ibook But I dont know how to acess my Ibook from my PC!

Go to System Preferences-Sharing and turn on Windows Sharing.

like when i go on my laptop to acess my music folder from my Pc I just go to my MsHome network from the Ibook and the Music folder shows because I set the folder to be used as sharing but i cant find a way to do this on the Ibook

You mean you still cannot access the iBook from the PC?

Yea i dont know How.. i have all my music transfered to my Mac but i want to acess it from my PC streaming it Over.. how do I know my Ibooks Ip?

have you tried sharing your music with itunes and getting itunes on the PC to pick it up, it'd be pretty easy..

well I figured it out by turning remote desktop On and it now shows the network folder
