| Hackers Take Aim At Mac OS X I wish I could find my post from a couple years ago but it mainly just said " I told you so"
Mac owners are being targeted by hackers and scumbags now that Apple is finally reaching a larger audience. The days of running your Mac with no protection are definitely over. Apple has better commercials, but the Mac is no harder to break into than a Windows PC, says Gartner security analyst John Pescatore. What's more, most IT shops can automatically patch large numbers of PCs at the same time, while Macs generally have to be patched one at a time, he said. Hackers Take Aim At Mac OS X - www.Tech-Dump.com So shut up about MAC is safer because its not and never has been and never will be because its software which is built by programming so no program code is safe and it all can be exploited on ANY system. And Firefox is next.

| Re: Hackers Take Aim At Mac OS X Nothing is a waste of time, if your favorite browser was Firefox, then thats great. Just learn how to use it, the same with a Mac, PC, Linux, anything. They are all good and serve the same purpose. I use IE7 and will always use it, thats just what I prefer. |

| Re: Hackers Take Aim At Mac OS X Always used ie. Was considering switching to improve security a bit. Finally got the wife to stop using limewire and intend to do some deep cleanup this evening since the new laptop with less ram and processor speed is faster than the PC, I suspect something is wrong.
It may just be all the junk she's installed on the PC - we'll find out soon. |

| Re: Hackers Take Aim At Mac OS X Good, im sick of all these high and mighty "oh apple is so secure" asshats. The only reason no one bothered to hack osx is because only about 5% of the computers around use it, if that many. |
