|  Apple Acknowledges Some MacBook Hard Drive Problems Apple Acknowledges Some MacBook Hard Drive Problems Months after problems were first reported, Apple is finally acknowledging that some of its MacBooks have faulty hard drives. The company is “looking into” the problem. Well that is reassuring. Retrodata, a U.K. data recovery firm, reported earlier this year that certain 2.5-inch Seagate drives used in MacBooks had a manufacturing flaw that causes the drive heads to scratch the surface of the drive and cause major problems. |

There are 8 Seagate drives in the house I'm living in, and all of them are working fine. One of them is over 8 years old.

I admire companies a lot more if they just put their hands up and admit they messed up...we're all just human after all!
