I hate this software with a passion as well. The interface is to messy and hard to organize music. I read an article in a magazine (have yet to test myself) that winamp released a patch or update that will allow you to use your ipod with it. Someone should check it out

Winamp works fine for Ipods i do it all the time. I dont like Itunes, but i know its not bad software. (5 seems sleek)
