WTF??? That's real constructive. What about the PPC and the superior OS? You are paying extra money for a reason. As for gaming, there are lots of games out there for the Mac.
I dont like the idea of paying a premium on hardware because of an os. Also, about Macs bieng really good for graphics, how is it any different from Windows or Linux with the same programs??? Quote:

No, macs dont suck because they got no start menu, lol. Quote:
Well when you use a MAC, the OS automatically assumes you are a complete idiot that does not know anything about computers..............
| I was on a friends mac running Os X. He is a "power user" and logs in as root user all the time. Even though i tell him its unsecure but he just starts on his "mac os x amazing security" pep talk. He had logged on as Root as usual and walked out of the room. I whipped open a session of Terminal and used the good 'ol "passwd" command. This i remembered from using Linux on my server. Since he was logged on as Root i changed his password without needing to know his old one. He hasnt given me his "mac superiour security" pep talk since, lol.

Just got back from a friends house, and am I ****ed. He lectured me on why Apple is evil and why Dell is king of computers. It was basically the same thing most n00bs who own Dells say, OS X is inferior, they're too overpriced, yadda yadda yadda. Then the biggie:
Macs can't use USB devices!

The way I understand it, when Steve Jobs became iCEO in 1997, he tried to renegotiate with the clone makers, so that Apple would be bringing in more profit from the clones, but they refused to change their existing deal, so he cut them off.

Look let's get on topic, shall we? The starter of this kid asked which one he should get, excluding operating systems. PC hardware is alot cheaper and better, so I'll say go with a PC.
