the only reason yr windows program would be wunerable to viruses is if u go to all those porn sites, and comparing how many people have macs and how many have pc's obviously you will hear more complains from pc users, THERES MORE OF THEM !

Cool "I wipe my ACKS..."

Which is why you don't need to go on porn sites to have spyware. Hackers have become soo advanced, that it really dosn't matter where you go on the internet.

It's also true that you're most vulnrable to an attack if you're still using dialup.
 People who say they could never be hacked because "they have dialup and nobody would bother" are REALLY pushing it.

Seriously, I've been waiting for someone to say something stupid like this so we can gleefully pounce on it and tear it to shreds.

If you seriously think that only pr0n sites give you malware, it's time for a reality check. You can get it anywhere these days. Nobody is immune to it, they may be well protected against it, but an AV is not an auto-immunity.

I'm dissapointed in you. Very.

Found this and thought it was funny.

Top Ten Reasons for Upgrading to a PC instead of a Mac:

1. You enjoy reading computer manuals
* 2. Buying parts 'not included' is your idea of being patriotic
* 3. Blaming it on the PC is a great excuse... for anything
* 4. Tech support is your idea of telephone dating
* 5. Your favorite computer game is figuring out where your files are
* 6. You look forward to today's new virus (or worm, or both)
* 7. You like listening to telephone support hold-button music
* 8. Letting the kids play on the Mac next door frees your time (eliminates after-school kid sitters)
* 9. You think Bill Gates deserves the money
* 10. You have nothing better to do with all the extra time

Now, You PC advocates tell me how many of those are NOT true...

All mac users say that, but i never get Virii and rarely get spyware. And the time i use getting rid of Spyware/Virii is mabye 30 min/month

That is quite a generalisation.

1. Computer manuals, what computer manuals???
2. Patriotic?? WTF???
3. Any educated person will agree - its always the user
4. I havnt rung Tech Support in a long time
5. No, i like HL2, CS (you dont get this on a mac), UT2K4
6. Im going to quote myself

8. I dont have kids, and "play on a mac" is kinda an oxymoron because many good games on a PC like CS, HL2 etc dont run on a mac.
9. I dont really think any big company deserves any of my money.
10. FREE TIME, FREE TIME, dont talk to me about free time. (and if i had it, it wouldnt be spent fixing my workin PC)

Did you really take all of that seriously? I was just sick of all the repetition in this thread and thought I'd try and lighten it up a bit...

WTF??? That's real constructive. What about the PPC and the superior OS? You are paying extra money for a reason. As for gaming, there are lots of games out there for the Mac.

Well when you use a MAC, the OS automatically assumes you are a complete idiot that does not know anything about computers..............

Also the last time I used a MAC was not that impressive....... I used a G5, and I popped in a CD, and the piece of sh!t locked up on a CDDB query...

But MACS are great for video editing. Kudos to Apple.........
